Timenu is designed to work without collecting your data.

Timenu does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share personal data.

Data collection

Timenu does not collect personal data. There are no analytics, crash-reporting SDKs, advertising frameworks, tracking SDKs, user accounts, or developer-operated servers.

Local storage

Your selected time zones, labels, ordering, display preferences, and onboarding state are stored locally on your Mac using Apple system storage. This information remains on your device and can be removed by deleting the app and its local data.

Network access

Timenu works offline and does not initiate network connections. Time-zone calculations use the time-zone information provided locally by macOS.

System services

If you enable “Launch at Login,” Timenu asks macOS to register the app as a login item using Apple’s Service Management framework. Timenu does not modify the system time or system time zone and does not request location access.

Third parties

Timenu contains no third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or account services. This website is hosted by GitHub Pages; requests to the website are subject to GitHub’s own privacy practices.

Changes

If this policy changes, this page will be updated with a new revision date. Material changes will be clearly noted.
