Timenu is small by design. Most questions have a quick answer.

Where is Timenu after launch?

Timenu is a menu bar app and intentionally has no Dock icon. Look for its clock text in the right side of the menu bar. If space is limited, reduce the number of displayed cities or hide other optional menu bar items.

Does Timenu change my system time zone?

No. Timenu only reads the current date, time, locale, and time-zone information provided by macOS. Adding a city never changes the Mac’s system time or time zone.

How do I hide Apple’s menu bar clock?

Current macOS versions may require Apple’s clock to remain in the menu bar. Open System Settings → Menu Bar → Clock Options to minimise its date, weekday, and seconds. Timenu does not use private APIs to hide or replace Apple’s clock.

Why can’t Timenu stay at the absolute right edge?

macOS controls status-item placement and reserves the far-right system area for Apple items. Hold Command while dragging Timenu to your preferred position; macOS remembers the position where supported, but apps cannot claim the absolute right edge with public APIs.

How do I launch Timenu at login?

Open Timenu Settings → General and enable Launch at Login. macOS may ask you to approve the login item in System Settings.

How do I report a problem?

Include your macOS version, Timenu version, selected time zones, and the steps that reproduce the problem. Do not include passwords or other sensitive information.
