What you will do

Use an existing Cloudflare Access SSH application from Vibeit.

Before you start

• An active Pro subscription. Third-party AI subscriptions and API credits are separate.
• A working internet connection for the service or download used in this tutorial.
• A reachable SSH server, its hostname/port, a username, and the authentication method you are authorized to use.

Add Remote Host → Connection → Cloudflare Access

Keep in mind

Access authorization and SSH authentication are separate checks. Renew Access sign-in when its session expires.

Follow the steps

1. 1Confirm the server-side setupAsk the administrator for the Access hostname, team domain and SSH user. The tunnel and Access policy must already be configured.
2. 2Select Cloudflare AccessChoose Cloudflare Access and enter its hostname and team domain. This transport uses the Access hostname rather than a direct SSH port.
3. 3Complete Access sign-inTap Sign in with Cloudflare Access and complete the identity-provider flow. Configure the SSH password or key separately.
4. 4Save, verify and connectKeep the default connection concurrency unless your setup supports more. Save, verify the host key and confirm a real file connection.

If it does not work

• For a timeout, check the host, port, network route and server availability.
• For authentication failures, check the username and matching password or private key.
• If the host fingerprint changes, verify it through a trusted channel before replacing the saved fingerprint.
