Where to start

Open a notebook → cell controls

Follow the steps

See the control up close

Choose the cell type — 1. Choose the cell type — Use a code cell for Python, Markdown for explanations, and an HTML cell for HTML content.

Edit Python in a code cell — 2. Edit Python in a code cell — Tap the source area and enter code. Code cells run through the notebook’s Python kernel.

Edit rich content — 3. Edit rich content — Non-empty Markdown and HTML cells open in rendered form. Tap the cell’s edit control to reveal its source.

Finish editing — 4. Finish editing — Use the finish-editing control to return to the rendered result. Your source remains available whenever you edit again.

If it does not work

For NameError, run the cell that defines the missing name.
For FileNotFoundError, check the working folder and keep the data directory beside the notebook.
For ModuleNotFoundError, check package availability; downloading a file does not install its Python package.
